On the 29th of June 1943 the crew of this aircraft were undertaking a training flight when an engine failed ten minutes after taking off. At 10.52hrs the
aircraft crashed to the south west of Crosby Manor Farm, near Thornton le Beans, two of the crew were killed, five survived.

I have yet to locate the crash site.
Corcoran and Larlee became PoW's in August 1943. It seems likely that Webley was
Air Bomber F/O Leslie C E Webley RCAF (J21610), killed in May 1944 whilst serving with 431 Sqdn.
