Mosquito at East Moor Airfield.

On the 25th of June 1946 this pilot was about to undertake a solo flight. On take off he raised the undercarriage too early causing the aircraft to sick down onto the runway as it was partially retracted, The mechanism was damaged forcing the pilot to make a belly landing on his return to East Moor three hours later.
