Proctor at Clifton Airfield.
On the 14th of December 1942 this aircraft was written off with Cat E2/FA damage at Clifton. Details are brief. It is thought to
have been a "Hack" aircraft whilst with 4 sqdn.
The aircraft was original ordered as a Percival Vega Gull to contract 975967/39 but it was completed as a Proctor I by Percival
Aircraft Ltd at Luton. It was delivered to MU storage in June 1940 and issued to 400 Sqdn RCAF (Army Co-Op Command) at Old Sarum on an
unspecified date for communication duties. It later transferred to 4 Sqdn at Clifton for similar work, with no date specified. It was
reported as deemed beyond repair on 14th December 1942.
It may not actually be an "accident" as such but has been included here until that is discovered.
