Halifax at RAF Wombleton.
The Halifax landed heavily damaging the port undercarriage, centre section and main spar, the crew were ok.
The aircaft is reported to have had its windscreen covered in ice at the time of landing.

Jack Kinniburgh (J/89817) died 4th September 1991, aged 74. He lived in Taber, Alberta.
If he be the same man, a Rutt Byron (R/293014) died 8th August 2003, he lived at Lethbridge, Alberta. Prior to joining the RCAF he had served in the Royal Canadian Engineers.
The crew went on to serve with 432 Sqdn at East Moor.
