Tiger Moth at Clifton Airfield.
On the 8th of October 1942 this Tiger Moth is listed in Clifton's ORB as being damaged in an accident. Nothing further is known. Why it was at Clifton
is not known.

The aircraft was built by De Havilland at Hatfield and registered as G-ADOG to Airwork Ltd at Perth on 19th September 1935. Its C of A was
issued on 11yj January 1936 and then it was operated by 11 ERFTS at Perth (by Airwork Ltd). The unit designation changed to
11 EFTS, Perth on 30th November 1939. It was impressed as BB673 on 19th September 1940 and its civilian registration was
cancelled as 'sold' on 14th November 1940. It transferred to 309 Sqdn at Dunino on 30th July 1941 where it suffered a Cat. B/FA
when it crashed in Gilmerton Estate, Edinburgh on 8th October 1941. After this it was dismantled and returned to D.H. for repair on 17th
October 1941. After repair it was issued to 20 EFTS at Yeadon and transferred to Leeds University Air Squadron at Yeadon on 4th January 1942.
It suffered it's Cat. A(c)/FA at Clifton on 8th October 1942 and repaired on site. It returned to Leeds UAS and served with them until being
SOC during a major inspection on 26th July 1944.
