On the 20th of April 1965 this aircraft collided with the Jet Provost listed below. The crew of this aircraft ejected safely. The aircraft crashed 1.5 miles east of Northallerton, Cat 5(s)/FA damage being sustained.

The aircraft was built to contract 6/ACFT/14157 by Hunting at Luton and delivered to the RAF on 31st March 1960 and after acceptance it was sent to 27 MU on 6th April 1960. It was issued to CFS on 1st June 1960 before moving on 13th October 1961 to 3 FTS at Leeming.
