On the 6th of April 1941 this aircraft crashed on take off from Thornaby airfield. No further details. It had only just been repaired after being damaged at Thornaby two days previously.

There could be an error with the serial of this aircraft given it had been damaged only two days previous repair must have been arranged at very quick notice for it to be flying and then damaged again two days later.
