On the 4th of April 1941 this aircraft crashed at Thornaby airfield. No further details although Cat A/FA damage was reported
suggesting only a minor incident.
The aircraft was built to contract 1485/39 by Rootes Securities at Blyth Bridge and was delivered to an RAF MU in August 1940.
It was issued to 114 Sqdn at an unspecified date. Following this minor bump at Thornaby it was repiared and continued to serve
with 114 Sqdn until being transferred to storage in September 1942. It was transferred to The Admiralty on the 9th February 1944
but was immediately sent to a RNDA store from where it was never heard of again / saw no further service.
