On the 14th April 1940 60 MU once again "inspected Hudson N7304, Thornaby, 14.04.40". Again no further details are known. It is suggested that the aircraft was damaged on the ground in the days prior to the 14th April, reasons unknown.

The aircraft was built to contract 791587/38 by Lockheed at Burbank. After delivery to the UK it was issued to 220 Sqdn in late 1939. Following this incident was repaired and transferred to 1 OTU at an unspecified date. It suffered a Cat W/FA accident on 4th May 1941.
