On the 4th of February 1940 this Hudson appears in 60 MU's ORB as "04.02.40. Hudson N7293 inspected at Thornaby." One presumes it suffered an accident in the days prior to the 4th February 1940.

The aircraft was built to contract 791587/38 by Lockheed at Burbank, California. After shipping to the UK and flight testing was issued to 220 Sqdn in September 1939. At some point it was transferred to 206 Sqdn then 6 OTU before finishing it's days at RAE being SOC on 7th November 1946.
