On 9th April 1940, 60 MU inspected a Hudson (N7239), but probably N7238, of 220 Sqdn at Thornaby. Whilst no further information is known, one assumes it was damaged at Thornaby airfield.

Hudson N7239 was written off on 4th September 1939 at Leuchars serving with 224 Sqdn, and thus cannot have been inspected at Thornaby nine months later.
