On the 5th of July 1917 the wings and fuselage of this aircraft were damaged in an accident at Redcar. Damage was put at Cat R/FA and the aircraft was repaired and returned to service up had Redcar.
It was it suffer another mishap in September 1917. Although damage was put again at Cat R/FA it was probably not repaired,
it was surveyed on the 7th of December 1917 and deleted from stock as "wrecked" on the 14th of December 1917.
The aircraft had been built by The Sunbeam Motor Co. Ltd. at Wolverhampton and delivered to RNAS Redcar by road transport
on the 8th of March 1817.
Here it was assembled, tested and accepted on the 28th of March 1917. It suffered a Cat R/FA accident in May 1917 already detailed on this website at Redcar.
