On the 4th of July 1917 this aircraft crashed in the Redcar area sustaining Cat R/FA damaged. There is no indication that the aircraft was actually repaired however and after assessing on the 7th of December 1917 it was deleted from use as spares on the 14th of December 1917.

The aircraft was built by Brush E.E. Co. Ltd at Lougborough and was delivered to CSD Whity City from where it was dispatched for assembly to AAP RNAS Killingholme on the 24th of February 1917. It was later transferred to RNAS Redcar on the 22nd of April 1917.
