Longhorn at Redcar.

On the 1st of April 1917 this aircraft crashed on landing at Redcar. The is no record of it being repaired but the aircraft but remained on charge for a further eight months prior to being finally assessed as Cat W/FA and was deleted for use as spares on the 14th of December 1917.

The aircraft was built by Brush E.E. Co. Ltd. at Loughborough and delivered to CSD White City from new. It was then issued to AAP RNAS Killingholme on the 13th of January 1917 and then up to RNAS Redcar on the 14th of March 1917 where it was used by the Flying School there.
