The aircraft was built to contract 439133/35 by Boulton & Paul at Wolverhampton and delivered to 1 ASU on the 24th November 1937. It was tranferred to 608 Sqdn in January 1938. Following the mishap above it was deemed beyond repair and struck off charge on the 7th May 1939.
