On the 29th of December 1936 this aircraft struck Tutor K3325 at Thornaby airfield damaging both aircraft. Both were later repaired. This aircraft suffered Cat R/FA damage. It was returned to service only to suffer a further Cat R/FA accident on 20th October 1938, and following repair a final Cat W/FA accident on 14th february 1940. it was struck off charge on 7th March 1940.

The aircraft was built to contract 410420/35 by Vickers Ltd at Weybridge and delivered to 9 FTS on 3rd May 1936.
