On the 20th of June 1936 this aircraft was damaged
when Hart K5805 ran into it on the ground at Thornaby airfield.
The aircraft was later repaired, Cat R/FA damage being sustained and had a long service life.

K5813 similarly was built to contract 410420/35 by Vickers at Weybridge and delivered to 9 FTS on the 17th of March 1936.
After suffering this accident in June 1936 it was repaired and returned to service with 9 FTS until transferred to 3 ASU on
the 10th of May 1938. It was sent to PD (Packing Depot) on the 6th of September 1938 and shipped to AD Seletar on the 17th of October 1938
and then transferred to SSVAF on the 17th of November 1938. It was later sent to Iraq on the 31st of May 1940 and then to the Middle East
on 4th of December 1940. It later served with 89 Sqdn from December 1941 to an unknown date when it was transferred to 274 Sqdn
and was eventually SOC on the 25th of November 1942.
