On the 18th of December 1916 this aircraft was parked up at Redcar when Caudron 8949 crashed into it and damaged both machines.
This aircraft was built by George Parnall & Co. Ltd at Bristol and delivered directly from the makers to RNAS Redcar on the 4th
of December 1916.
It was tested and accepted there on the 6th of December 1916. Following this Cat R ground accident in December 1916 it was
repaired and returned to service before suffering another accident on the 16th of February 1917, this time more serious with Cat W/FA damage. It was deleted
on the 27th of February 1917
