On the 22nd of January 1917 this aircraft was damaged after it collided with a hanger at Redcar whilst taxying.
The aircraft was built by Bristol at Filton and delivered to RNAS Redcar for erection on the 28th of
October 1916. After suffering Cat R/FA damage in this incident in early 1916 it was repaired and returned to service before being again more
seriously damaged in a Cat W/FA flying accident on the 12th of June 1917, after assessing it was finally deleted as beyond economic repair on the
25th of June 1917.
