This aircraft was built by Britsih Caudron Co Ltd at Hendon. It was delivered to RNS AAP Hendon on the 24th of May 1916
where it was tested and accepted on the 26th of May 1916. It was taken apart and transported by rail up to Redcar on the 11th of July 1917. Following re-erection and testing there, it was accepted on the
2nd of August 1916. It suffered two mishaps prior to the 11th of December 1916 when this aircraft was
damaged when it was flown into the ground on landing at Redcar.
It was repaired and was finally written off early in 1017 before being deleted from stock on the 31st of January 1917.
