This aircraft was built by Britsih Caudron Co Ltd at Hendon. It was delivered to RNS AAP Hendon on the 24th of May 1916
where it was tested and accepted on the 26th of May 1916. It was taken apart and transported by rail up to Redcar on the 11th of July 1917. Following re-erection and testing there, it was accepted on the
2nd of August 1916. It suffered damage at Redcar in mid August 1916 and was repaired.
On the 24th of October 1916 this aircraft was damaged in a force-landing at Redcar following engine failure.
The aircraft ran into a hedge. It was then again repaired, only to suffer two further accidents at Redcar in
the following months, the first was again repairable, the second in the January 1917 wrote it off. It was
finally deleted from stock on the 31st of January 1917.
