Caudron GIII at Redcar.

On the 21st of August 1916 this aircraft was damaged in a force-landing at Redcar. It suffered Cat R/FA damage in the accident and was probably repaired there. It was finally deleted on the 25th of June 1917. The aircraft had been built by British Caudron Co Ltd at Hendon and delivered to RNAS AAP Hendon on the 11th of May 1916, it was tested there on the 16th of May 1916. It was then dismantled, left Hendon on the 16th of June 1916 and transported up to Redcar where it arrived on the 22nd of June 1916.
