On the 23rd of August 1916 this aircraft was damaged at Redcar whilst on a test flight, it was built by Brush EE Co Ltd of Loughbrough It was transported to Redcar on the 23rd of August 1916, it was on probably its first flight when engine failure occured, the pilot force-landed the aircraft at Redcar. There is no record of its repair but it remained with the unit until the 25th of June 1917 before being deleted from stock.
