On the 15th of February 1916 this aircraft was wrecked in a gale at Redcar. So severe was the damage that it was written off and deemed beyond economic repair, delete from stock as of the 1st of March 1916. It had been delivered to Redcar from its makers Bristol's of Filton on the 22nd of December 1915.
