On the 4th of July 1917 the fuselage and undercarriage of this aircraft was damaged at Redcar in a landing accident.
DAnage being put at Cat R/FA, the aircraft was soon repaired and returned to service at Redcar before being damaged again in a flying accident on the
1st of September 1917. There is then no record of it being repaired before the surveyers made their visit to Redcar on the 7th of December 1917. The outcome of which was to delete it from stock with effect from the
14th of December 1917 as "Wrecked".
The aircraft was built by S.E. Saunder Ltd for the RFC and transferred direct from the RFC to RNAS Redcar on the 21st of May 1916.
