On the 27th of February 1916 this aircraft was badly damaged in a force-landing at Lackenby whilst on its acceptance flight at RNAS Redcar,
its wings and undercarriage were the worst effected in the . Damage was sustained but as Cat R/FA.
It was dismantled, taken to Redcar, repaired and returned to service, where upon it was again seriously damaged on the 1st of April 1916,
this time as Cat W/FA and was deleted as BER on the 14th of April 1916.
Having been made by Blackburn, of Roundhay, Leeds it was delivered to RNAS Killingholme on 15th September 1915 and accepted there
on the 1st October before being transferred to Redcar the day of its accident in February 1916.
