Lightning off Whitby.

On the 15th of July 1986 this Lightning suffered an engine fire whilst out over the North Sea, the pilot ejected and the aircraft crashed into the sea some miles off Whitby. It is thought that he was picked up some time later ok. Sources vary with regard the distance off Whitby this occured, either 15 miles or 7 miles.
