On the 29th of September 1918 this aircraft spun into the sea from 1000 feet whilst stunt flying off Marske after the pilot’s clothing became
entangled in the controls whilst flying. He was being filmed for an instructional film being shot at the time. The aircraft was built y Ruston, Proctor & Co. Ltd at Lincoln.
