On the 31st of May 1918 this aircraft suffered fuel problems and the pilot was forced to land the aircraft in the sea 1.5 miles off North Cheek, Robin Hoods Bay. The aircrafts signalman was injured in the landing. The aircraft was later towed into Robin Hoods Bay.
