This website contains information regarding the many aircraft crashes that have occured on the North Yorkshire Moors and in the areas immediately surrounding this large area of high ground in England. My research is not just limited to where the various aircraft have crashed, but also to who was on board them. In many cases these airmen lost their lives, I hope that this website will let their sacrific live on and in some way keep their memory alive. The area is local to where I live and have grown up. I have been researching these incidents for a number of years now and I hope that all my facts displayed on this website are correct, if any reader wishes to correct or expand any of the details shown please email me. If anyone remembers any of the crashes on this website or others I may have inadvertantly left out I would love to hear your memories. I would also like to express my thanks to the families of some of these airmen who lost their lives for contacting me, without the information and photographs they have been able to provide these pages would not be as complete.
